Late in 1969 the muscular DBS V8 was finally unveiled and made available for sale to a wealthy few.
Although capable of almost 160mph, perhaps the fastest car of its time, the V8 was almost a 4 seater.
Shortage of cash throughout the 1970’s and 1980’s meant that the V8 lasted far longer in production than
could ever have been imagined when it was launched. The car steadily evolved into an awesome 170 mph super car.
The car featured has the weber carburettors (4 twin choke 42DCNF’s), with a few small tweaks to the camshaft
in 1976 the model was marketed as the fastest car in the world with a top speed of 172mph and a 0 to 60 of 5.7
in manual and 6 seconds in Auto.
