We bought this car in October 2009 as an unfinished restoration. The chassis was good and there had been some repairs to the inner rear wings.
It had new brakes all round and new springs and shockers and ran well. All it needed was a ‘bit of interior trim’ – right.
A year and much money later we had it on the road having fitted some major new parts including; Head gasket,
clutch master and slave cylinders, brake master cylinder, fuel pump (bosch) metering unit and injectors, complete S/S sports exhaust system,
wheels shot blasted and powder coated, carpets, trim and seat foams, steering wheel, new hood and frame and lots of little bits (choke cable, clips, CD/radio,
speakers etc).
